Tribeca Loft

Built in 1915 and facing the iconic Odeon restaurant, this converted penthouse carries the memories and charm of New York’s finest eras. The design objective was simple and intentional: craft a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels both refreshingly contemporary while remaining timeless - an understated counterpart to the penthouses previous tenants.

I was inspired by Halston’s Manhattan interiors, where conversation pits were formed in tall and open penthouses, and the furniture was plush, monochromatic, and low, yet still nodded to the happening trends of the 70’s that were being born just next door. My client was bringing in souvenirs from her trips to Japan, South of France, and abroad. While I was mixing old and new finds from estate sales and the cities countless thrift and consignment shops.

It was important to me to create a quiet sanctuary that felt distinctly hers. A space that’s current, warm, and aligned with her fashion-forward lifestyle.
